I do face painting at Cosplay events and try to keep a wide variety of paints available. A lot of times, children will get their face painted in the morning and its already irritating their skin before they leave. I was looking for some brushes and ended up looking this kit over and thought that I would try it on the claim that it wont irritate the skin. Before I use it on kids, I will put some paint on my own skin first. This is my review based on personal experience with my own skin and then taking it to a party: The paint goes in extremely evenly. While there arent a lot of pallet options, if you are experienced with mixing or read on how to do it you can make any color you want from primary blends. I was able to create a Tiger face on myself so I could try the black and not only did it stay on but it also came off easily and that doesnt seem like that both of those things would happen. You will need to add a bit more black to get the dark lines, but I think the tradeoff of not irritating the skin and washing off easily makes up for it. I took it to a party a few days after and it applied easily to kids skin, which is a different texture, and it came out very well. I like the case, everything seems excellent quality, and I figured I would write a review so that other people who are getting into face painting would give it a try. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is trying to paint kids faces at parties because its safe, irritant free and washes off easily.
