I studied a variety of blood pressure monitors prior to purchasing this particular one. I immediately decided I needed a wrist one - this is because I always found the arm types incredibly uncomfortable. As a result of investigating price ranges from low to high, I made the decision that an average price for the capabilities I would like, was between 20-40. I looked at the cheaper models and did not get the sense that these products wanted to provide many details, plus they just have basic features of bpm, heart rate, memory. And also the postage and packing isnt free below 20 so you end up paying for delivery. To avoid a stab in the dark I searched other things I really like to see product information in as much detail as possible - The TempIR one talks about all of its features including the arrhythmia warning, which these products do not all have, and memory features A few of the monitors did not have any reviews on them. If you think anything, you will perhaps hate to check up about Check this out at amazon.co.uk/Blood-pressure-Monitor-Diastolic-Hypertension/dp/B00XN0WM28/blood pressure monitor/. The TempIR one didnt have many, but they were all 5 stars and have a lot of good information in them. Lots of the monitors have big LCD displays, but also some of them looked difficult with additional colours and buttons, the TempIR one was more simple I prefer to look at images of everything that I am buying and the TempIR monitor actually showed the plastic box it came with too. There was a free e-book, which is also an added bonus, it will save you time if you want some info on high blood pressure..
