What I Say Ive just bought an iPhone 6 Plus. It is gorgeous, it is sexy and it is slick However it is also rather huge and difficult to hold onto, slippery even. So this time I searched Amazon for a protective case and came up with the Shock-2. Loved the appearance of the boom brand and this case looked strong without being stupidly chunky like some of the other ones. I generally prefer to purchase things from Amazon due to the fact that their fast and reliable delivery and headache free checkout. The Shock-2 case is made from two separate parts that come already assembled. Its actually a soft and a hard case integrated in one, in the cleverest of ways. The inner part is like the common silicone cases other than it is made from TPU. This is a mixture of silicone with hard plastic so its more durable than silicone alone. This covers the entire phone extremely securely and has actually been made thicker in each of the corners for additional protection. My last phone did land and smash from the corner impact so this was good to see. The outer part of the case is much harder and according to Amazon is made from polycarbonate. This is a great design as it is the hardest kind of plastic so makes the case very protective however still slim and light. Amazon have 4 colours available, black, red, white and blue, I chose white as I have the silver iPhone 6 Plus which is white on the front to match. A bonus at the time I bought it but now probably my fav thing about the Shock-2 is the flip out stand. This is fantastic for facetime or for enjoying videos, which I do regularly and it saves you getting weary from holding the phone. Very convenient. Its also a well thought out angle for viewing when you put in on the table.
