新页面

> I am using Linked-in to keep up with my professional contacts and help them with introductions. Since you are one of the people I suggest, I wanted to invite you to gain access to my network o-n LinkedIn. > > Basic membership is free, and it will take less when compared to a minute to register and join my community. Like me, have you received invitations like these? > I'm using LinkedIn to maintain with my professional connections and help them with introductions. Because you are among the people I recommend, I wanted to invite you to access my network on LinkedIn. > > Basic account is free, and it takes less when compared to a second to register and join my system. I have received well over 3-5 invitations similar to this, worded almost exactly the same manner. The senders have acted surprised and offended that I didn't leap to make the most of this request. Let's look at the issues in this request from the marketing point of view. * Almost all of the invitations I received were from people whose names I didn't recognize. Why would I wish to be part of their community? The invitation does not say how I would benefit from their network and who they're, who they have use of. * What is Linked In, how does it work and what're the advantages of using it? No-one has yet explained this clearly in their request. You can't expect that some body receiving this invitation knows what you are asking them to join or how it would be good for them. It would be beneficial to have a sentence or two explaining how it works and citing a specific result the person behind the invitation loved from membership. It might be that people believe that since 'basic membership is free,' the normal individual of the request may go ahead and join. But even when it can not cost money, time would be taken by joining. You still need to 'sell' people o-n taking a free activity, especially with respect to an activity or organization which may be new for them. * No body got the time to head off possible misconceptions or objections to the account. As a non-member of Linked In, I'm worried that joining would open me up to a lot of e-mail and phone calls where I would have no interest and that would waste my time. Again, you can not believe that something free is thereby enticing; you should imagine why some body could have questions or dismiss the concept and handle those objections. * Using a refined request that is almost the same as everybody else's doesn't create a good feeling. Even if the written text supplied by Linked In were effective, which it's not, you'd want to give it your individual stamp. This splendid [http://www.ynpahy.com/national-organization-recognizes-achievement-of-orange-county-schools-3/ http://www.ynpahy.com/national-organization-recognizes-achievement-of-orange-county-schools-3/] site has endless staggering warnings for why to acknowledge this idea. Aside from being irritated that they are apparently encouraging individuals to send invitations that make little sense, I have nothing against Linked In. Perhaps it's an useful business. My position is that its members should use good sense and fundamental marketing principles to promote active, cynical visitors to give it a chance..
