So I went ahead and sprang for the high-end, fancy dancy espresso machine that was supposed to bring me to coffee nirvana. And it would have-- if I hadnt used the cheapo steaming and frothing pitcher I purchased without thinking. What a disaster There was squandered milk, a burnt hand, drips of foam on what would have otherwise been beautiful latte art. And RUST Within just a few days, my low-cost pitcher had rust discolorations. Gross No way was my milk going in there Desperate for something better, I scoured Amazon for a new pitcher. I discovered one with great reviews and decided to give it a try. Well, thank you Amazon My new Café Luxe steaming and frothing pitcher is a dream come true. Permit me to explain. I opened the little black box and could tell immediately that this business knew how essential my coffee is to me. Secured by a soft protective pouch was the solution to my coffee problem-- a beautiful stainless steel pitcher that was so shiny, I was able to see my reflection in it. And the weight of the pitcher, the solid feel it had in my hand, reflected its professional quality 18/8 stainless steel. There will be no rusting here Then I looked within the pitcher and was head over heels to see the etched volume markings I had searched long and hard for. No more squandering milk due to the fact that I poured too much. No having to start over due to the fact that I didnt steam enough milk. Now, I can prepare the exact quantity of milk I need without thinking-- and who can think BEFORE they have their coffee anyhow ?? To make it even better, I found that this magnificently refined addition to my kitchen is dishwasher safe I simply throw it in the dishwasher and "voila", it comes out looking like it did when it came out of the box. The final confirmation that I hadmade the best choice came when I went to design the latte art I enjoy in my nightly latte. With many pitchers, the milk comes out too rapidly and its impossible to develop anything other than a blob. But not with this wonder. It was perfection. No drips. No mess. The spout was just the best size and shape to help me pour the beautiful tulip design I like.
