I got to a point where I almost gave up. I had difficulty finding a USB wifi adapter that functioned correctly on Windows 8. I bought multiple ones from Amazon.com with no success. All the major ones simply did not work with Windows 8, and the ones that were advertised to function for Windows 8, did not operate properly. Apart from the glitches, most wifi adapters did not get connectivity all the way in my basement, where I placed my recently built computer. The basement is the only place where I can get my video editing work finished in peace. Even though I love my family, it is hard to concentrate when your daughters are throwing stuffed animals at you. Then, I stumbled upon the Net-Dyn USB wifi Adapter on Amazon by accident. I was skeptical about trying it out, since so many before had failed, but when I read that it has a life time guarantee, I thought "what the heck". The USB adapter arrived a couple of days later, and I tried it promptly. I was surprised by how good it worked with Windows 8. It installed very quickly too. Then, the moment of truth came. I opened up Vimeo to see how well an HD video could stream. "Wow" I said out loud. It only took seconds to load, and the video did not pause itself once. Ive been using this wifi Adapter for seven months now. About two months ago I had a problem with my connectivity and I called Net-Dyn.
