The famine that struck the land where his sons and Jacob lived became the reason why they were later reunited. Reconciliation between Joseph and his friends paved the way for Jacob to again see his son. This remarkable story shows how we, like Joseph, should cling to faith also within the most trying conditions. Stress and anxiety need not stop us from believing that God has forsaken us and that weve been left alone at the center of our problems. Certainly, overcoming lifes difficulties is a journey of confidence, faith, and determination that of us should just take.
