How craft beer, a wine tasting movie, and a bit of what I like to call "hometown egotism" led me to write about a cheese grater, yep ... a cheese grater, that I bought on Amazon called Choc N Cheese. I welcomed some visiting associates from back East to join me at my favorite micro-brewery in Torrance, CA where my craft beer enthusiast pal JJ claimed "finest ever, ever-ever-ever" in his Chris Tucker voice So Im humbly thinking to myself, "Yeayah ... feather number one" Our partner Shawna then shared what a fanatic she was of the film Sideways, so I invited them for a weekend cruise through wine country around the Santa Barbara area up the coast. While eating salad and drinking some... well, Pinot Noir, at one of our stops, the name on a cheese grater captured our attention, Choc N Cheese, as our server grated some Parmesan cheese. We pondered on the name for the next 20 minutes questioning what "Choc" meant. We then shunned dinner for some sweet wine and dessert when our server came around offering to grate some chocolate, nutmeg, and cinnamon over our dish tableside using the Choc N Cheese grater, hence the word "Choc." JJ states, "Bro ... Be taught new information on this affiliated paper by visiting Learn more about this at http://www.amazon.com/Choc-Cheese-Black-Kitchen-Chocolate/dp/B00N2H4I1K/Cheese Grater/. Im moving to the West Coast" We then went down the street to take some pics at the Farmers Market where Miles and Maya strolled through in the film. Yep, feather number two and three. So when I returned home that Sunday night, I bought the Choc N Cheese from Amazon. There are 2 different designs, one with a stainless steel handle and the other with a plastic non-slip plastic handle which is available in 2 colors. The one utilized at the winery was the stainless steel one so I purchased that one plus the black handle one which matches my wifes kitchen area towels and appliances. My main reason for buying them was to show off some of the chocolate grating tricks I discovered at the winery to my spouse who missed out on the trip. They are so simple to utilize and I have also used them to zest some Citrus on mixed drinks. While it was the name that captured my eye, I am very excited about my awesome Choc N Cheese and recommend them for every kitchen out there and they are very inexpensive to buy.
