The mat passed the washing machine test and is in fact just as smooth as out of the box that I like and it is soothing to me. 2. It is an ideal non-slip for yoga, meditation and slow movement workouts when damp; it is excellent in holding its position. I would advise running in place or running over it, into a jump kick for basic exercises - it satisfies the claim. 3. It is comfy. I love how it feels on my skin and going through standard movements on it. Cons 1. Nothing that I discovered. Additional Comments 1. I am anticipating utilizing this mat towel to practice my yoga. My previous yoga mat towel was too thin and soft. This yoga mat towel will be utilized by me by itself over the mat for yoga and in-home exercises.
