The UI is straightforward to use and understand, with Internet contacting, instant messaging, e-mail, and needless to say, Google search. There are no ad's to clutter the Interface, which can be refreshing. The user control's again are pretty cut and dry, it's somewhat plain-looking, however; this I think add's to it is simplicity. Other than a lack of ad's, the only thing new about that is the fact it's from Google. In general, Google Talk is a pretty good messenger. If you have a distaste for banner ad's or pop up's each time you begin your messenger, 'Gary' Talk should really be a welcome change of pace..
