As a candle enthusiast, I enjoy buying, collecting new candles. I have candles in every room in my home and outside on the patio table. They add such a lovely, warm, ambiance to my home. I use to always buy real wax candles, but if you are a candle lover just like me, you would know you are constantly having to replace them and you often tend to be concerned about leaving the candles burning when not in the room. I have discovered what I think is the ideal flameless LED candle that looks as great as a normal candle and still provides that ambient feel. Its battery operated and the batteries last a long time, I have not had to change the batteries yet The flame flickers just like a traditional candle and glows like a traditional candle. I still worry about going to bed with it on as it looks so real. The flame movement is incredibly realistic. My close friends are amazed how wonderful it looks, most times they do not know it is not real unless I inform them. . I purchased the candle on Amazon.com, I like buying from Amazon simply because you can always return it if you do not like it and they ship the item very quickly. There are numerous flameless candles to pick from but I particularly like the one from Flamelike Candles. The flame is the most realistic and its unscented. The shell is not made out of wax. If you only want a wax shell do not buy this one. The shell is made out of a special resin that still looks and feels like wax. The candle can be used out side undercover, I purchased a wax shell candle once before and after a couple of months I discovered a split appear in the wax. One other wonderful thing I love about this kind of candle is that it features a timer function, you can set it to come on the exact same time each and every evening, it then goes off after 5 hours. I just leave it on the timer function. Its a good night light if you need to get up through the night. Safe if you have young children. It does have a remote control that is sold separately.
