I definitely adore my precious dogs, they are my life. I never would have thought that I would have to utilize a pet dog training collar on them, but boy was I mistaken. They both started out as great young puppies, Max and Margie, my 2 bestest Boxers. I taught them all the fundamental canine tricks that I understood. They learned ways to sit, shake, lay down, stay, come, jump, speak, and be silent. Max was a lot faster of a learner, however Margie was close behind trying to keep in line her older . I took them everywhere I went, and they constantly obeyed and did everything that they were told. They were good at walking together, both on a leash and often off of a leash if there had not been a lot of distractions. I got compliments all the time from people going by on my well-behaved dogs. And then, one day out of the blue, Max became a royal butt-head. He just chose to stop doing everything that I invested the last 2 years teaching him. He wouldnt come when I called him, he would growl when I told him to sit ... to sit And it was an absolute nightmare attempting to take him for walks anymore. To make things even worse, little sister Margie began acting up like her bigger bro. Its like they formed some kind of sinister dog alliance and they were hell bent on sticking it to the man. so essentially, sticking it to me. Eek. So anyway, I never ever enjoyed the thought of pet shock collars. I thought they were harsh initially, and I swore I d never ever try one. However, after a great deal of study, and asking a great deal of questions, I arrived at the conclusion that they are really really efficient, and they dont cause any harm to dogs. At this point I could not take the terrible duo any longer, so I purchased one from Amazon, and Im so happy I did I was extremely skeptical at first, however I just followed the directions and set it up correctly. Then I began using it on Max first, because he was the naughtier of the two. The collar I bought had three different functions - shock, vibrate, and a beeping noise. I decided to stick with the vibrate and see if it would work. And ... it did Max dislikes the collar around his neck, and he gets extremely frustrated each time I have to vibrate him. Since I started doing that, he does whatever I tell him so he wont feel it on his neck. Its excellent I do the exact same thing for Margie, and shes very simple, this one. All I have to do now is just pick up the remote and she understands I mean business. Pretty soon I believe I can simply go back to disciplining them with no collar at all, however for now, it has worked marvels. To anyone out there with pesky pets forming alliances against them, I would certainly recommend you get yourself a pet dog training collar. Even if you simply have one bratty dog, its so worth the investment..
