I do face painting at Renn Faire events and try to keep a wide variety of paints available. A lot of times, children will get their face painted in the morning and its already irritating their skin before they leave. I was looking for some brushes and ended up looking this kit over and figured I would try it on the claim that it wont irritate the skin. Before I use it on children, I will put some of the color on my own skin first. This review is based on personal experience with my own skin and then taking it to to use elsewhere: The paint goes in very smoothly. While there are not a lot of pallet options, if you know how to mix or read on how to do it you can make any color you want from the colors included. I was able to create a Tiger face on myself so I could test the black and not only did it stay on but it also came off easily and that doesnt seem like that both of those things would be true. You will need to add a bit more black to get the dark stripes, but I think the tradeoff of not irritating the skin and washing off easily more than makes up for it. I took it to a party the week after and it applied easily to childrens skin, which is a different texture, and it came out very well. In case you require to be taught further about Learn more about this at http://www.amazon.com/Face-Painting-Kit-Irritation-Free-Superheroes/dp/B012EUPIT6/face painting/, there are many on-line databases you could pursue. I like the case, everything seems excellent quality, and I figured I would write this feedback so that other people who are getting into face painting would give it a try. I do highly recommend this product to anyone who is trying to paint kids faces at parties because its safe, non-toxic and washes off easily..
